Public Affairs Advocacy
We actively represent member interests at state and national levels by monitoring policy issues that affect our industry and taking a stance on legislative and regulatory agendas. In addition, our annual National Issues Conference provides critical opportunity to address top concerns with lawmakers face-to-face on Capitol Hill. Our members also have access to a legal defense fund which provides legal defense and financial support during needed situations.
Industry Information Resources
Our association provides numerous marketing resources, including:
- arvcVOICE - Our membership news magazine, which is printed three times annually, focuses on park ownership issues and opportunities such as marketing, staffing, safety, legislative and regulatory requirements, operational excellence, current industry trends and innovation.
- arvcNews - Each month, the arvcNews is distributed via email to provide members with timely updates on programs and events, breaking news in the industry, and coverage of key topics of interest to park owners. The highly interactive and concise format of arvcNews makes it easy for viewers to navigate through the content and link to additional information on arvc.org.
- arvc Handbook - Published each spring, the Member Handbook is packed with useful information, including leadership, educational opportunities, details on member benefit programs and the different ways you can get involved in arvc.
- arvc.org - Our member website is designed to serve as an essential resource that members can access at any time to find the valuable information they need: the latest industry news, trends and research that affect your business; marketing, management and operational resources; a complete list of preferred pricing programs and other exclusive member discounts; a forum for members to talk about industry trends, issues, and to meet each other.
Each year arvc hosts the only national education and expo venue that brings together 500-plus fellow park owners and operators along with 100-plus exhibitors. The Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE) gives members numerous opportunities to share best practices and gain new insights through cracker barrel discussions, education seminars and social events. Plus, the expo offers park owners the opportunity to learn about new products and services to improve park operations.
arvc.org features an online forum to allow members to share concerns, experiences, ask questions and learn from other members and suppliers.
