Half Day Workshops
Tuesday, December 2 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Workshop #1: Towers, Routers, and Clouds –WiFi Systems that Work - Learn what is required to successfully meet the WiFi needs of not only your business, but your customer. In today’s world of technology, customers arrive with high expectations that their electronic devices will have access to the internet anywhere. If you don’t have the right framework set up in your park, or the right service coming into your park, you will end up with customers who leave unsatisfied. During this workshop you will learn how to evaluate the wireless infrastructure you currently have and how to talk to providers so you get what you need and not just what they want to sell.

Workshop #2: Securing a Business Loan - Have you ever applied for a business loan only to find out you don’t have the information you need to get the loan? Or the lender doesn’t understand the outdoor hospitality industry so won’t award you the loan? In this workshop you’ll learn how to educate those that have the power to give you a loan, and how to put together the information you need to have a greater chance in getting the loan. Whether you need to make some minor capital improvements, a major expansion, or are trying to get your first loan for your first park – this workshop is for you.

Successful Park Operations Tour (SPOT)
Monday, Dec. 1 and Tuesday, Dec. 2
Join us for a full day on Monday or for the morning on Tuesday (or both days!) as we tour parks and hospitality operations in the area to give you new ideas you can take back home and apply at your park.
Monday, Dec. 1 - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (times are approximate) - Visit several parks in and around Las Vegas, and be back in time for dinner. Learn from parks about what makes them successful, gain ideas that you can take home and use in your own park, brainstorm how to adapt something that “can’t work at your park” to something that could, and spend the day with your peers as you explore parks in the area.
Tuesday Dec. 2 - 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (times are approximate) – Take this unique tour and get a peek behind the scenes at an RV Park at one of Las Vegas’ hotel casinos. Discover how this RV Park manages the business of the hotel and the RV Park. With more and more RV Parks introducing alternative lodging rentals, learning how they manage items such as reservations, food service, laundry, and housekeeping can provide you with many great ideas to make your business run smoother.

The Expo will open its doors with a welcome reception on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with food, drinks and camaraderie. The Expo will be open again from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4 and from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Friday, December 5. This is your chance to find the products and services you need for your park all in one convenient place. More than 100 exhibitors will be on hand to answer your questions and provide you with valuable information and money-saving incentives.
