It’s no secret, cracker barrels and evening gatherings are some of the most valuable events attended at conventions and meetings. In fact, the sheer amount of in-depth knowledge and generous sharing always amazes and humbles me. And perhaps like you, I always walk away wishing there were more folks around the table.
This gave me the idea of developing a printed version of these fantastic sessions. The August ARVC Report will be our first ever “How-to” issue and I need your wisdom and insight. I’m looking for articles by you – owners, operators – those in the thick of it – on topics that you know “how-to”. What’s your “how-to” specialty? How to maintain your pool, how to develop guest relationships, how to run a successful website promotion, how to coach and counsel your staff, how to keep your books straight, how to run your park with less than 10 staff members, how to offer the best activities for your guests, how to help campers with wi-fi questions, how to make your park irresistible, how to earn ancillary income, how to green your housekeeping efforts, how to order for a successful store season, how to best utilize staff uniforms, how to email your guests, how to learn more about running your business, how to create a successful café schedule, etc.
