President to Speak at Monaco RV

President Barack Obama's next visit to Indiana will be Wednesday in Wakarusa. The president will deliver remarks on the economy during an invitation-only appearance at the Monaco RV facility. A White House officials has said the president will make an announcement involving funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment act. The Wakarusa facility was one of several Monaco assets acquired by Illinois-based Navistar International Corp. (NYSE: NAV) in June.

On Wednesday, August 5, 2009, President Barack Obama will travel to Wakarusa, Indiana to deliver remarks on the economy.

 

In Wakarusa, President Obama will discuss the immediate steps we have taken to rescue our economy, and the long-term investments we are making to rebuild for the future. He will discuss how we build a new economic foundation strong enough to withstand future economic storms and support lasting prosperity, and how we recapture the spirit of innovation that has always moved America forward.
