Come February it isn't so much a new year anymore. So far this year the National ARVC Public Affairs team has already reviewed over 3,000 bills. We'd been anticipating an increase in federal and state bill introductions and carryovers in 2023, and it's delivering so far. This increase is due to all states being in legislative session, as well as a change in the complexion of the House and Senate following the midterms.
Campers love themed activities. It's a tried and true method for getting guests to your campground and excited about participating in something as a group. The comradery it builds and the memories they make are priceless. But how do you decide what's worth celebrating? And how can your activities stand out? The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) recently recognized the “best of the best” in the outdoor hospitality industry at its annual Awards of Excellence, held on November 9 at the 2022 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE) in Orlando, Florida. The afternoon began with recognition of the Plan-It Green Parks of the Year, an award given to National ARVC member-parks that exemplify environmentally-friendly practices across all areas of park operations.
