Winners of the 2019 Awards of Excellence will be announced at the 2019 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo during the Awards of Excellence dinner on Thursday, November 7.

In response to member needs, the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) has announced a new and improved education session and speaker lineup for the 2019 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE). The association’s annual conference will be highlighted by five new educational learning tracks taught in innovative formats by new expert voices. 

More than three quarters (75%) of the session topics are completely new and will be taught by a cast of new experts from inside and outside the outdoor hospitality industry. 

Our 2019 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE), which will take place in Knoxville, Tenn. on November 4-7, will soon be here! Whether you’re a long-time conference attendee or you’re new to the industry, you’ll find that we’ve packed this year’s OHCE with all kinds of opportunities for learning, networking, shopping and more!

In order to assist RV park and campground owners and operators in their search for the best reservation system for their park, the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) is hosting an interactive Reservation Systems Panel during this fall’s Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE). This panel will give attendees a chance to engage directly with eight of the premier companies in the market to gain a better understanding of the products and services each offer.

Having a dedicated team of employees is the lifeblood of any campground. But human resource responsibilities go far beyond the recruitment and hiring processes. Records must be kept accurately, legal requirements must be met and there are other factors that owners need to know such as why something as seemingly harmless as using volunteers can actually put the campground at risk for liability issues.

Each year, at ARVC’s annual Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE), four park owners take the stage to accept the prestigious ARVC Park of the Year award. One award is given in each of four park size categories: Small (0-100 sites), Medium (101-250 sites), Large (251-499 sites) and Mega (500 or more sites).
