Firefly Reservations founder Bradly Adams saw a problem, so he created a solution.
Bradly and his brother Clay started a 10-site campground in 2017. The campsite was a success, but the brothers had full-time jobs. To be able to handle all the administrative work that comes with running a campsite, they were going to need a comprehensive and easy-to-use computer reservation system. However, Bradly found himself faced with options that were inefficient, out-of-date, or too expensive. Most importantly, they weren’t built with campground owners in mind.
So Bradly got to work on software that would benefit both campground owners and their customers. His goal was to create a product that was not only efficient, but that could solve any problems that a campground owner might face on a day-to-day basis. From this, Firefly Reservations was born.
Firefly debuted in 2020, coinciding with camping’s explosion in popularity due to the COVID pandemic. With a customer base that was growing by the day, Bradly was able to use his own campground experience to finetune the product, making it easier to use for owners and customers.
Now, with hundreds of campgrounds across America as loyal customers, Firefly Reservations is the upgrade to Astra Campground Manager.
Firefly will enhance Astra Campground Manager’s time-tested formula with a move to cloud-based technology which brings along with it a host of easy-to-use, intuitive features including online and ongoing reservations, an interactive map, automated guest emails and recurring payments, a self-service kiosk, a number of email customizations, a reservation grid, a guest portal, custom reservation fees, and more.
With the new cloud-based technology, campground owners will not be limited to operating on-site. As long as there is internet access, they can work from any computer, tablet, or phone from the comfort of their own home to a campsite across the world. Campground owners, managers, and staff will now have time to focus on more important issues throughout the day.
