Currently, President & CEO of the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds based in Denver, Colorado, where he’s served since December, 2010. From 2006-2010, served as COO and founding partner of Jookt, LLC, the first multimedia programming network dedicated to the coverage of high school sports. Previously, served as a senior telecommunications professional with over 25 years of experience in the fields of cable television management and satellite operations. Owned and operated a consulting firm providing strategic guidance to a variety of satellite and terrestrial telecommunications providers. Served as Vice President of Operations for the Comcast Digital Media Center, providing compressed digital video signals via satellite to cable television operators across the United States. Served in a number of increasingly senior operating and marketing roles at Rifkin & Associates, Inc. and Time, Inc. between 1977 and 1999. Married 23 years to Candace Bambei and father of 3 children, Kurt, Alexandra and Jackson. Sports enthusiast, coach, Save Our Youth mentor and former Board member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
David joined ARVC in March of 2018. He started his career as a journalist, but his entrepreneurial spirit drove him to start his own publishing company and marketing firm in 2002, which he owned and operated until 2008. He is a proud native of Cincinnati, Ohio and a graduate of Kent State University. He and his family enjoy the year-round outdoor lifestyle of Colorado—hiking, biking and camping in the spring, summer and fall and skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. An avid traveler, he has been to 48 U.S. States, all but two Canadian provinces and multiple countries on four continents.
Suma joined ARVC in March 2018. She has lived in India and various parts of the US and moved to Colorado in 2014. She has worked in finance for the past several years, most recently being with the City of Denver. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to new places.
Krystine joined ARVC in October of 2018. She is a native of California and life-long camper. She has enjoyed hiking Half Dome in Yosemite, Red Rock Canyon in Nevada and trails throughout Kings Canyon & Sequoia National Parks. She earned her MBA from American Public University and brings experience from diverse industries such as public accounting, manufacturing and government contracting. An avid traveler, she has been to more than 30 U.S. States and 14 European countries. Krystine is a voracious reader of multiple genres and enjoys spending time with her daughter and two dogs.
Gary joined ARVC in September 2018 after two successful years as the sales manager for RVShare. He lives with his wife and son in the Akron/Canton, Ohio area. When he’s not working, he enjoys camping, kayaking and sports. Keep an eye out, because he may show up at your park as he travels across the country representing ARVC!
A native of Wisconsin and a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, Madeline worked in the recreation department for the city of Grandview, Missouri prior to joining ARVC in September 2017. With a passion for philanthropic endeavors, she is an active member of Kappa Alpha Theta and regularly volunteers in the community. She and her husband love to travel and experience new cultures.
Instrumental in developing Colorado State University’s Global Campus online education program, Paula brought her expertise to ARVC in July 2018. A lifelong learner, she is a graduate of Penn State and has two masters degrees—one in arts and literature and one in curriculum and instructional design. A native of Pennsylvania, she now calls Colorado home and loves the outdoors. You’ll often find her on weekends riding one of her nine motorcycles.
A talented designer and marketer, Rebecca joined ARVC in January 2018. She is a native of Georgia and a graduate of Piedmont College. She’s a member of the 50 State Club and loves to travel with her husband and two dogs. You’ll often find them hiking the mountains of southern Colorado, where her extended family lives.
Jenny moved to Denver in November 2018 and joined ARVC in April 2019, bringing with her administrative experience in a variety of industries ranging from student group travel to performing arts management to photobooth rental logistics and management. Jenny is a lifelong world traveler. She had visited 13 countries before turning 13 and, in total, has visited 29 US States and 27 countries while living in 5 different US states and Poland. In addition to being a world traveler, Jenny is a musician and proud nerd. Jenny the Traveler enjoys exploring the world and being outdoors doing things like climbing trees, hiking and skiing. Jenny the Musician enjoys playing percussion with the Highlands Ranch Concert Band, singing in the car and ballroom dancing. Jenny the Nerd enjoys reading fantasy novels, playing online games and playing Dungeons and Dragons.
Matt joined the ARVC in April of 2019. He began his career in a variety of roles in journalism and media relations before spending eight years planning events and managing social media for an NCAA Division I conference. Born and raised in Carbondale, Colo. and a proud graduate of Colorado State University, not even the beaches of San Diego could keep Matt away from his home state for long. He loves all things Colorado, especially the sunshine, mountains, sports and food (tacos and green chile, in particular). He has been to 37 states, so far, and enjoys travelling internationally, especially to his grandparents’ homeland of Croatia.
Jeff spent more than 30 years as an owner and operator of the Compton Ridge Campground in Branson, Missouri. His campground was always a member of ARVC, and he spent many years volunteering on the ARVC board and with the Missouri Campground Association, before joining the ARVC staff in January 2011. A graduate of the College of the Ozarks, he lives in Branson and enjoys spending his free time with his wife, kids and grandkids.
